I jumped at the chance to get to spend a week with Marcia in Italy. I was excited to step into the unknown, to challenge myself and see what I might discover about me. I thought I was going to Italy to figure out how to make my Wine Experience Company a reality. And, while I definitely got some great ideas and plan to pursue this dream, what I found was much greater and priceless – my heart, my soul and my sense of who I am and who I am supposed to be. I’ve been on a journey of awakening for a long time and I’ve discovered lots of things about myself along the way. But to do it in a setting such as Rome was definitely a highlight and an experience I will always treasure. I travelled to Rome not knowing any of the women I would spend a week with. I was familiar with two of the women, but I didn’t know them and I knew Marcia from having spent one weekend seminar with her. Beyond that, it was a complete leap of faith. After arriving in Rome and to the gorgeous hotel, we were greeted by a roof-top garden reception and pink sunset. From there the week was spent with 5 other woman – each beautiful and special in her own way – shopping, eating, exploring, and laughing. During the days we’d tour historic Rome, spent a day in Florence shopping and a day in Tuscany exploring small towns and a thermal bath spa. We also had opportunities for afternoon coaching sessions where each one shared what she wanted and needed. The gift for me was to be witnessed by these beautiful souls as my own heart and soul became more apparent to me during the week. I returned renewed and grounded and certain in who I am and who I am becoming. I am love.
